1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the HealthInbox browser extension and website (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Licence to Use

Subject to these terms, HealthInbox grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own purposes. The licence is tied to you and may not be shared, sublicensed, sold, or otherwise made available to any third party.

3. Subscription and Pricing

The Pro version is offered as an annual subscription at EUR 10 per year. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each annual period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from the extension Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

A free tier is always available, subject to the usage limits described on our website.

4. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

In accordance with Article 9 of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, if you are a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days of the date of purchase, without giving any reason, and obtain a full refund. To exercise this right, contact contact@healthinbox.site. We process the refund without undue delay.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the Service or any licence key;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent the licensing or usage limits of the Service;
• use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, and trademarks, is and remains the property of HealthInbox. These terms grant you a licence to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that email classification will be accurate or complete, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will achieve any particular result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory warranties owed to consumers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HealthInbox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This limitation does not affect mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the Service or these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that grant you the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
